You go to your email and click on the activation link inside the email to activate your new social bookmarking account. At this point you copy and paste from the email (the user and password) and login to the new account. Once you are logged in you have to create a profile by filling out all the necessary details. You even have a spot to place a website link. Once your profile has been created you will start submitting your own website pages. This is called Bookmarking your pages. When you bookmark a page you need to fill out the form. You will enter the title of your page, the tags, the 400-500 character descrip

tion and click submit. Make sure that if you submit to a bunch of social bookmarking sites, you alter the title and description each time. This is so there is no duplicate content and your bookmark pages will be stay indexed.

This all ties in to the whole social media explosion that's happening on the internet right now. More and more, people find themselves participating in real time conversaions, voting on each others stories and links and so on. Social bookmarking your links leaves them in just such places, and this is good for seo. This whole process of social bookmarking is a long tedious job, but it's worth it.
